TERMS & Conditions

1. General / Scope 
1.1 isolutions AG (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer”) is the organizer of the Empower Event (hereinafter referred to as “Event”). 
1.2 These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to participants of the Event as well as all other contractual partners of the Organizer. 
1.3 The purchase of tickets for participation in the Event is only possible on the basis of these T&Cs. 
1.4 By purchasing a ticket via empowerconference.ch or runevents.net, the participant (“Participant”) accepts these T&Cs.  

2. Event Content and Services / Conclusion of Contract 
2.1 The Event description on empowerconference.ch and the Code of Conduct serve as the basis for a ticket purchase offer. By completing the ticket order form, the Participant submits a binding purchase offer. 
2.2 The Participant will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after placing the order. 
2.3 If a ticket service provider is commissioned to process the booking, their terms and conditions also apply in addition to these T&Cs. 
2.4 Program changes may occur. Changes to the program, including the order of sessions, do not entitle the Participant to withdraw from or dispute the booking, as long as the overall nature of the Event is not materially affected. 
2.5 The Organizer is entitled to cancel an order unilaterally if the Participant violates a condition explicitly stated by the Organizer during pre-sale or attempts to circumvent such a condition. 
2.6 Tickets are personal and non-transferable.  

3. Ticket Price, Discounts, and Payment 
3.1 Ticket prices are fixed and include VAT. The Organizer reserves the right to adjust prices. 
3.2 The total ticket price is due immediately upon purchase. 
3.3 In the case of discounts, the Organizer may require proof of eligibility (e.g., student ID) before granting the discount.  

4. Ticket Delivery, Loss, and Complaints 
4.1 Unless otherwise agreed, tickets will be sent after receipt of payment either directly by the Organizer or by a commissioned ticket service provider to the email address provided by the Participant. 
4.2 Upon receipt, the Participant is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the ticket and, if necessary, requesting a replacement in a timely manner before the start of the Event.  

5. Ticket Refunds and Returns 
5.1 Tickets are eligible for a full refund up to 10 days prior to the Event. After this deadline, refunds cannot be accommodated due to planning requirements.  

6. Photography and Video Recording 
6.1 During the Event, photographs and video recordings may be made by the Organizer or third parties commissioned by the Organizer. These may be used for marketing purposes and published online (e.g., on the Organizer’s website or social media) as well as at future events. 
6.2 By purchasing a ticket, the Participant consents to the use of images or videos in which they may be identifiable. 
6.3 Participants who do not wish to appear in recordings must notify the Organizer in writing at info@empowerconference.ch at least two weeks prior to the Event.  

7. Organizer Liability 
7.1 Claims for damages due to non-performance, breach of contract, negligence, or unlawful acts are excluded, except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent conduct. Liability for consequential or indirect damages is also excluded. Insurance is the responsibility of the Participant.  

8. Final Provisions 
8.1 If any provision of these T&Cs is invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected. 
8.2 Amendments or additions to these T&Cs must be in writing. 
8.3 The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the Organizer’s registered office. Swiss law applies exclusively. 
8.4 Participants are not allowed to display or distribute corporate advertising at the venue. Sponsors are exempted.
